Fisrt Orange Trickster’s video

Most of the time you create something, is inspired by something … this video had as main influences, from left to right: (1) The Cure’s masterpiece Pornography, (2) The Magic Mirror on Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs; (3) Robert Blake’s character(Mistery Man) on David Lynch’s 1997 film, Lost Highway, (4) The Classic Game Frankenstein’s Monster for the Atari 2600.

The Shadow References

Orange Trickster is an electronic music project that seeks to rescue the synthpop of the early 1980s, through the sounds, beats and vocal harmonies on the choruses characteristic of the age and style. With influences of Kraftwerk, New Order and Depeche Mode, currently the focus is on recording the music created for your first album.

It all started with a very simple idea: to relive the Synthpop atmosphere of the early 80s, with emphasis on melodies and choruses. While the first album is built, new references are being incorporated, looking for a original result .

There will be ten songs, which follow in the footsteps of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and New Order, and are also influenced by Coldplay, MGMT, Will .I . Am and Timbaland in a lovingly way… If the music touches someone’s heart and mind, that’s why Orange Trickster exists and what we strive to achieve.

In the future, there is a desire to play live and continue showing the material we already have, which is being carefully handled for the first album called “Yellow Dreams”, that follows a path between light and shadow and where synthesizers, vocal choruses and vocorders are the vehicles.
